Doctor of Philosophy Program
Students wanting to enter the Doctor of Philosophy in Religious Studies program must have completed a Doctor of Ministry Degree or an equivalent of 196 credit hours.
The main purpose of the Doctor of Philosophy in Religious Studies is to help the student develop the skills to do philosophy from a Christian worldview.
Program Objectives

- Communicate major tenets of their field
- Explain open problems and areas needing development
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in specialization
- Contribute to body of knowledge through research
- Minister effectively in academic and church settings
School Procedures
Study Format
Ministry-based Bible School at Mua Hills, Machakos County. Students can study at home at their own pace. We meet once per week/month for open exams.
Accreditation
Implements Team Impact Christian University (TICU) - USA curriculum. Registration number: TUK2032. Accredited by Theological Accreditation International (T.A.I.).
Progression
No minimum qualification for Certificate level. Successful completion leads to Diploma, Degree, and Doctorate levels. All transcripts kept in USA office.
Examinations
Completed exams emailed to TICU. All exam questions included in books. Similar answers or cheating disqualifies a student from the module.
Mentorship
All Masters' and Doctorate students mentored online by Team Impact. Lukenya Bible School connects students to Team Impact Christian University.
Graduation
Gowns and caps provided by Team Impact Christian University at the graduation ceremony. Certificates issued from the USA.
